The Tunisia Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Project, which ran from 2012 to 2014, was designed to strengthen Tunisia’s economic competitiveness and prospects for sustained growth by promoting greater SME involvement in trade and investment related activities.
To do this, the project provided technical assistance to export-ready or near export-ready SMEs. Funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the project was implemented by IESC—the International Executive Service Corps—through VEGA.
