VEGA was joined by the volunteer-sending community on Valentine’s Day for the “Send a Volunteer a Valentine” social media campaign, which invited all organizations and individuals that support volunteers to show their appreciation!
The campaign not only shared heartfelt words with volunteers, but also helped VEGA engage with our existing community and reach new audiences. On February 14, the campaign reached 155,051 unique users with a total of 188,015 impressions! In addition to VEGA, VEGA Members International Executive Service Corps (IESC), Winrock International, Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA), Engineers Without Borders-USA and NCBA CLUSA participated in the campaign, extending VEGA’s reach through their social media channels as well. We were also joined by the Farmer-to-Farmer community, IMPACT 2030, Project Hope, Health Volunteers Overseas and Rise Against Hunger.
